(1) The Government of India has announced the subscription calendar for FY 2021-22. There will be 6 issues from May to September 2021. Updated "Subscription Calendar" heading under the "Info" tab
(2) The issue price for Series 1 (May 2021) subscription will be Rs 4,777 per one gram of pure gold
The Financial Calculator India website has also been updated with the above details.

Added interest rates (%) of Bank Fixed Deposit (FD) scheme.
It includes FD interest rates of 33 Banks present in India (12 public sector Banks and 21 private sector Banks).
It includes FD rates for both General Public and Senior Citizens.
You can access it using "Interest Rates (%)" screen located under "Bank" section.
These FD rates were added to the Financial Calculator India website as well.
We'll update these rates regularly in future.

Updated PM Vaya Vandhana Scheme (PM VVS) details and calculator as per the following announcement from the Government on 20-May-2020.
(1) scheme was extended for 3 more years
(2) interest rate was reduced and hence pension will also be reduced
(3) interest rate will be revised every financial year in line with the interest rate of Senior Citizens Savings Scheme (SCSS)
(4) interest rate for FY 2020-21 is 7.4% for monthly pension frequency
